Graphic Designer Veronica: From First Clients to Independent Business
Veronica is a 27-year-old graphic designer who decided to go her own way. After studying graphic design, during which she started earning extra money with small projects, she decided to start her own business. The beginnings were tough, but today, thanks to her work, she enjoys the freedom she always dreamed of.

A Dream of Creative Work

I always knew I wanted to do something creative. In high school, I started experimenting with graphic design, and people around me encouraged me to pursue it. After high school, I went on to study graphic design and started looking for my first clients while still in school. At first, I took on small projects—flyers, business cards, or logos for friends. When I started making money, I realized that I really enjoyed the work and could do it full-time. I knew I wanted to be self-employed, have my own clients, and manage my own schedule. So, after finishing school, I started my business.

"Invoicing was a nightmare for me."

More Paperwork Than Creativity

When I started my business, things moved slowly. Clients started reaching out, and I began getting regular projects. But what quickly became exhausting was the administrative side. Invoicing was a nightmare for me. Even though I had everything in spreadsheets and knew what I was doing, it still took up way too much time. What frustrated me the most was that instead of focusing on design, I was constantly checking who I had invoiced and who hadn’t paid yet.

How Veronika Started Using InvoiceOnline

I first tried InvoiceOnline two years ago, on the recommendation of a friend who is also self-employed. That was a game-changer for me. Suddenly, invoicing took just a few minutes. A few clicks, and it was done—I didn’t have to fill in anything manually or worry about forgetting something. Everything was in one place.

I had much more time for my work and could finally focus on what I truly enjoy—creating visual designs for my clients.

The Freedom of Running My Own Business

Looking back at my business journey, I know I made the right choice. I have a stable client base and can choose projects that truly fulfill me. I no longer worry about administrative work slowing me down. InvoiceOnline gives me the freedom and peace of mind I need to do my job. Now, instead of sitting over paperwork and checking invoices, I’m back at my desk with creative ideas, excited to help businesses grow visually.
